Ice Cream Parlour

A new trend has been spotted. AKA the pastel palette, forecasted by WGSN for the year 2014. As South Africans though, we have embraced this trend a lot earlier and you can find it in almost every store. Not only are these light colours perfect for our skin tones, but also light for the summer. Enjoy the trend board created for you by me and the help of my friend Jordie.

Song of the week

So I was playing games on my old computer when I came across my old iTunes library and found this song! It is a real old one and shall I say from a boy band “back in the day”. The song, however, is one of the best love songs I’ve heard and describes exactly how love should be. Enjoy! =)

Everyday I Love You – Boyzone [from elyrics.net]

I don’t know, but I believe
That some things are meant to be
And that you’ll make a better me
Everyday I love you

I never thought that dreams came true
But you showed me that they do
You know that I learn something new
Everyday I love you

‘Cos I believe that destiny
Is out of our control (don’t you know that I do)
And you’ll never live until you love
With all your heart and soul.

It’s a touch when I feel bad
It’s a smile when I get mad
All the little things I am
Everyday I love you

Everyday I love you more
Everyday I love you

‘Cos I believe that destiny
Is out of our control (don’t you know that I do)
And you’ll never live until you love
With all your heart and soul

If I asked would you say yes?
Together we’re the very best
I know that I am truly blessed
Everyday I love you

And I’ll give you my best
Everyday I love you

Nkwe shoot

Hi MyBFF’s! I know it’s been a while, but we were offline. Sorry. Good news though, I had my first fashion story shoot and it’s coming soon for your enjoyment. Nkwe Resort in Pretoria has been kind enough to lend us their venue for the shoot and you won’t believe how beautiful it is! It is well known for students and families having picnic and swimming in the small dam with a waterfall as background. This looked stunning as a backdrop for my “Aqua Goddess” shoot.

If you want more information about the venue, call Nkwe Resort on 012 811 5231 or visit their website: nkwepark.co.za. Here are some photos of the water scenery at the beautiful picnic area.
